Volleyball (Girls)

The Yishun Town Volleyball Team strives to develop confident team players of character. The team is driven by passion, respect, integrity and dedication to the sport. Volleyball trainings not only focus on improving players’ skills and techniques but also inculcating the right values and building players of sound character. Throughout the year, our players participate in friendly matches against various schools like Zhonghua Secondary School, Singapore American School and St Hilda’s Secondary School.  These friendly matches enable the players to improve their skills and mentally prepare for their competitions.

Volleyball trainings not only focus on improving players’ skills and techniques, but also inculcating the right values and building players of sound character. This year, the Volleyball Girls Team participated in a VIA activity organised by Edugrow for Brighter Tomorrows to provide holistic support to children from low-income families, enabling the growth towards social mobility. During the activity, our girls interacted actively with the children, through team bonding games.

The Yishun Town Volleyball Team will continue to strive towards building players of character. Apart from training and competition, the team will also focus on other initiatives that will help develop all-rounded and holistic players.
