The Girl Guides are part of a growing worldwide movement which aims to nurture girls into confident individuals who play active roles in the society. The girls participate in a myriad of activities such as camping, outdoor activities and undergo the 5-Point Programme in Guiding which requires them to clear modules related to personal and social development, as well as the community for example. They are also exposed to various learning opportunities that help them gain meaningful experiences and forge strong friendships with their fellow Guides.

They are also exposed to various learning opportunities that help them gain meaningful experiences and forge strong friendships with their fellow Guides.

The Guides also take part in a long-term joint partnership programme with the Sree Narayana Mission Home which allows them to learn about values and compassion for the elderly. The girls learn how to communicate with the elderly residents and plan activities that cater to their needs and interests. Through this service learning project, the girls get a better understanding of the less fortunate, how their actions can bring much joy to those in need and not taking things for granted.

The Guides also undergo camp craft training such as tent-pitching and gadget-making. These outdoor training sessions often involve the girls being out in the sun for hours but through the process, they learn about teamwork and the importance of resilience. Being proficient in camp craft skills is definitely not an easy feat; they have to think critically when they plan and execute the design of their gadgets, as well as their function. They have to be aware of their environment and be adept at surveying the area before deciding where it is best to set up camp. They are also provided with the platform to hone their creativity when designing their gadgets, patrol flags and identities. The camping experience has no doubt helped the Guides in creating valuable memories and strengthening their bonds with one another.
