Our school has adopted the following device as our Personal Learning Device (PLD) for Secondary One students:

Pre-Requisites for using own PLD

If you would like to use your own learning device instead of purchasing the school’s prescribed PLD, please ensure that your device meets the following required specifications for DMA installation:

Operating System	iPadOS 18 Note: As our school is using iPAD OS for Secondary One students in 2025, our DMA cannot be installed on Windows or ChromeOS.

Device	Device should not be older than 4 years from manufacturing date
Battery	Hold charge for at least 4 hours

The DMA must be installed on the own learning device and a factory reset will be required (Existing data in the device will be wiped and all data including software and applications must be backed-up).

Please note that the PDLP Hotline operating hours is as follows: Weekdays 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (Lunch hour: 12.00 p.m. to 1.00 p.m.)

Note: Your child may be required to bring the device to school to facilitate the checking of the iPad requirements by our ICT personnel. Do note that your child will need to be physically present during the check which will take about 15 minutes.
